The phosphate fertilizer output of Kazakhstan Phosphorus Co., Ltd., located in Zhambul State, accounts for more than 90% of the country’s total output, which can meet the domestic market demand in Kazakhstan. The output in 2017 and 2018 were 298,000 tons and 256,000 tons respectively. From January to October 2019, the output was 325,000 tons. The annual plan is to produce 400,000 tons of phosphate fertilizer. More than 75% of the products are exported to neighboring countries and other countries. The Development Bank of Kazakhstan provided the company with a loan of 7 billion tenge to support the company's expansion of production. The nitrogen fertilizer output of Kazakhstan Nitrogen Fertilizer Joint Stock Company in Mangystau region accounts for 87% of the country's total output. The output in 2017 and 2018 were 302,000 tons and 300,000 tons, respectively. The output from January to October 2019 was 294,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.8%. About 27% of the products are exported to Ukraine, Turkmenistan and Russia. Harbin Development Bank provided 30 billion tenge for the company's modernization and expansion.
